Another win for Commack’s baseball team, this time over Lindenhurst.
Couldn’t ask for better weather for this one. Filtered sunlight and shirtsleeve temperatures. Would have been nice if it stuck around…
This type of sunlight comes in low across Commack’s baseball field for afternoon games. The later it gets, the warmer the colors get; you can see that in the sequence of gallery photos. The sunlight will hit the infield clay and reflect up onto the players creating very warm skin tones. You may like that or not. If not, you can correct it by shifting the skin tones hue from red to yellow and lightening them up a bit. Either way looks good.
Seems like a lot of base-runners in this gallery but it was one of those games. Lots of post-processing to do today so I’ll end this post here. If you have any questions on post-processing, or photographing, baseball, leave them in the contact form and I’ll do my best to get back to you quickly.
Next up - a somewhat soggy girls track meet. Have fun.
