Commack High School Varsity Football vs William Floyd
Well, at least the weather was nice.
Here’s a tip if you’re shooting with a longer variable aperture zoom. You might notice that your backgrounds have a strange appearance when shooting wide open. Kind of like pixelated where the background should appear smooth. Try stopping down your aperture to the widest setting of the longest focal length. For example, if you’re shooting with a 100-400mm zoom whose maximum aperture varies from f/4.0 to f/5.6 try setting the aperture at f/5.6. You may find you have a cleaner background and you also have the extra bonus of being able to shoot in full manual exposure mode without the aperture changing.
That’s all I got. Next up - boys volleyball.
