Congrats to the Commack boys fencers on their win over Walt Whitman. They’re off to a great start.
If you’re interested in tips and strategy for photographing fencing check out the previous post, “Girls Fencing vs. Huntington”. That should get you started and if you have any questions you can email me or leave a comment in the post.
The photos in this gallery were finished using Fujifilm’s Classic Chrome film simulation. which mimics color slide film. It works very well in this venue by toning down the yellow walls and improving the accuracy of the wood floors. Lots of people say this simulation looks like Kodachrome but, to me, it looks more like Agfachrome. It doesn’t have the saturation of Kodachrome but more of a pastel look. Anyway, it works for these shots.
Next up is wrestling. Have fun and have a great holiday!
