Commack High School Varsity Football vs. Bay Shore - Homecoming
Homecoming games are always fun to shoot. Lots of activities in addition to the game. Commack pulled off a win, which is always a good thing for Homecoming day.
I shot this game with two bodies - an XT-2 with an 18-55mm for the portraits and wide shots, and an XT-3 with a 100-400m for the game shots. It was a pleasure not to have to switch lenses on a single body. I started off in Auto-ISO mode but switched to full manual exposure when the clouds disappeared.
This is a big gallery since a lot of stuff was going on besides the game. I’m sure I missed a few shots of the festivities but there were a load of other folks with cameras on the field so I have to believe everything was captured by someone. This gallery is a little late because I was up in Maine for the week, so I also missed a few playoff games. I hope to resume on Monday.
